Inspired by a photo reminiscent of the streets of Taiwan, South senior and artist Julia Chou painted this piece with oil on canvas. Chou is an accomplished artist who has won numerous recognitions for her work, including the 2016 Maude Kerns Artist Recognition Award.
In this pen drawing, South senior Lizka Vaintrob took inspiration from the strong winds she encountered while living in Edinburgh, Scotland. Vaintrob is well-known in the University of Oregon theater community for designing costumes, stage sets, and promotional posters.
South senior Dani White painted this still life piece with acrylic paint on canvas. White is also a talented pianist and an academically successful student, taking classes at the UO in addition to her demanding schedule at South.
