Eugene as a whole prides itself in the preservation of the arts, whether in schools or out in the community, but one collective has taken an interesting approach to this goal. Harmonic Laboratory is a group of artists, thinkers, educators and innovators who work to integrate art, science, and the humanities into creative works to showcase cultural stories. Their new exhibition, Tesla: Light, Sound, Color, boasts this scientific and artistic theme.
On Jan. 10 and 11, the Hult Center will present the show Tesla: Light, Sound, Color — an exhibition that seeks to combine STEM with the arts — in the Soreng Theater. The mixed-media presentation, chronicling the life of Nikola Tesla, will include live physics demonstrations, digital animation and guest performances from the Eugene Ballet Company and the Delgani String Quartet.
Ticket prices range from $27 to $37.50, with discounts for college students, youth, and seniors available.
