Many parents here at South may wonder about what they can do to support their kids, especially since nowadays, the stress that comes with being a high school student is no joke. From extracurriculars to demanding school work, it is easy for this pressure to grow into something more severe. This build-up of extreme stress often means that a student’s physical and mental health is compromised in order to get other things done, whether it is school, sports, work, or family-related activities. In order to address this, South’s Parent Council will be holding a parent seminar to support their kids’ mental health. The seminar will be held in South’s library on Feb. 6. More information will be posted around the school as the date gets closer.
