Meet the iPhone X

By: Noshin Rahman

On Oct. 27, the new iPhone X will be officially released to the public, two months after the launch of the iPhone 8. This early release date has critics questioning the $999 price tag and the inventiveness of the new iPhone. Despite this critique, the new iPhone features many engineering marvels including  an OLED screen which delivers a much greater contrast ratio and more power than traditional LED screens, a stunning display that goes from edge to edge, infrared scanner facial recognition instead of a fingerprint scanner, and a wireless charger.  Furthermore, if you love taking selfies or taking pictures of others, the iPhone X features a 7MP True Depth front camera with Portrait Mode and Portrait Lighting.
